The Grandma Files

I'd like to introduce a new series I call the Grandma Files. The above picture is the file box that belonged to my grandmother. Within are recipes, handwritten, typed, (yes that used to be a thing), and clipped from various places. Being a thrifty person, my grandmother re-used paper, so there are bible quotes or notes written to a family member on one side and a recipe on another.

While I have no intention of recreating every recipe in here, I do plan on sharing them in the interest of posterity. I'm looking forward to opening the box and sharing what's inside with you!

As a matter of fact, the very first recipe from the Grandma Files is already on my site! One of my favorite childhood treats!
