Nostalgic, maybe even iconic. The star of many childhood dinner plates - the Sloppy Joe. It also happens to be quick, convenient, tasty, and budget friendly. It won't heat up your kitchen on a hot summer day, and it makes great left-overs!
This recipe for Sloppy Joes comes from one of my Aunts. It uses simple easy to find ingredients to make a tasty sandwich. You don't need to buy that can of sloppy joe sauce on the shelves anymore. Please don't... it's so easy and inexpensive to make the sauce yourself and you'll avoid all the extra things you don't want in your food!

This recipe is very straightforward. I don't think it needs a lot of explaining, so I am not going to bother with a re-write. I do have a couple of things to clarify, but that's it.
The mustard is probably prepared mustard.
There's no additional salt because garlic salt and worcestershire are used.
The sentence should read: "If too thick add water to suit yourself."
A touch of sugar is how much sugar you happen to like in your sloppy joes. Start with a small amount, like a good pinch, taste and adjust to your liking.
And there you have it! Quick, easy, and family pleasing sloppy joes!
Thanks for being here! See you soon!
