Books Volume 1

I read. Chances are good you do too. I mean, here we are in this moment: you're reading my words, and I have written them to you. I thought it would be fun, for me at least, to share a few books I've read. I think you should read them. They have informed the way I think. It'd be pretty cool if they informed you as well.

Before I get to the list, I want to suggest trying to find used, older copies of books whenever possible, instead of relying on electronic versions. Now, I do own an e-reader and I like using it. Some books contain ideas that others don't agree with, and instead of disagreeing and moving on, they choose to subvert and destroy. Some translations are better than others for this reason. I choose no political side in this, simply that people with access will use it. The digital age has it's problems, the same as every other. But an easy way to preserve words is to keep them in print.

One final caveat: I am not going to tell you what I thought of any of the books on this short list. It will be enough that I found them thought provoking and I generally agree with or like what they say. I want you to read for yourself and form your own opinions without undue interference.

Let's get to it! I've included links when possible for reference. I have no affiliation, I make no money.
